The Captain's Back!

If you have been paying close attention to the blog, you may have noticed a slight change in the way things look. You may have also noticed, if you payed even closer attention, that I haven’t posted anything in a solid month. Whoops!

What is Deal With That?

If you didn’t read that in an outrageously exaggerated Seinfeld voice, you owe it to yourself to go back and read it again the proper way. Did you do it? Ok, good, now we can continue.
I had to move the blog over to a new server if I wanted it to do anything more than what it had been before, as the company I had been with, who is a huge name in blogging but has a very shifty way of getting you into its web if you use the .com version rather than the .org version, had been limiting my abilities to grow my site without paying them a lot of money.
Since being smart with money is kind of a big deal, I decided against shelling out my shillings, and instead decided to move along to bigger and better.

So What’s New For 2019?

That is the big question, isn’t it? Well, here’s what I have for you, my dear sweet loyal reader:
  • I will continue posting ultra-high-quality infotainment every Monday and Thursday
  • I will be adding new books to the Books You Should Read post as I get through them, and I have some doozies coming down the line
  • There will be some more fantastic guest posts, including one coming very soon from a really fun blog whose name will not be made clear to you just yet. I have to keep something up my sleeve, don’t I? (winky face)
  • You will, if you sign up for my mailing list, receive a monthly newsletter highlighting some, well, highlights of the month, along with a few little tidbits exclusive to the newsletter. So hop on the mailing list! Even if you did a while ago, some of the names from the list have unfortunately been lost during the shift. Sorry!

The Captain is Back, Baby!

That’s right! You know it’s true because I said it twice! So hang on tight, because it’s going to be a hell of a ride! I mean, it’s a blog, so it probably won’t be that crazy, but you know what I mean.
